Those with an oval face shape may feel blessed. They have the most versatile of all face shapes, and therefore have the most options when choosing a new hair style. Almost any look works great with an oval face. There are, of course, dos and don’ts for this face shape, just like with any other.
Most women with an oval face will generally look best if they have some layers near their best feature. If you have prominent cheek bones, for example, you will want to have a cut that has some layering by the cheek bone.
A very short cut works well for many women with an oval face. Whether you are considering a pixie cut, or something like what Rihanna is sporting, if you have an oval face, you will probably be able to pull it off.
Bob cuts of all lengths look great on an oval face. If you add in a little bit of texture, such as some waves or a tousled look, it will look even better. Again, remember to accentuate your best feature with layers.
Be careful with bangs. Though with your facial structure, you can pull off bangs of almost any style, you will want to make sure that they are not too short. This can make the rest of the face look much longer in comparison.
One thing to avoid with an oval face is hair that is too long, and one length. This can make your face look much longer. If you want to have long hair, and you have an oval face, consider adding some layers. Another option if you are insistent on extra long hair would be to add in some bangs as a counter point.
With an oval face, you are lucky. You can choose almost any hair style and be able to pull it off. With everything from super short to long hair, it can be hard to pick just one style!
