Women who have a heart shaped face may find that they have a frustrating time trying to find the best hair style and cut for themselves. When looking for the perfect new cut, there are some things to keep in mind.
If you have a heart shaped face, you face is wider near your temple, and then narrows at your chin. Most women with this face shape have a more pointed chin. Because of this, you want to find a hair style that doesn’t accentuate the top part of the face, or it will look even more wide in comparison.
For those with a heart shaped face, the best cuts tend to be either chin length or longer. For some women with a heart face, very short styles may work. This is generally the case if it is a dramatic difference between the cheekbones and the chin.
Some things that you will want to make a point to stay away from are styles that will look too dramatic or harsh. For example, for the majority of those with a heart shape face, you don’t want a full, short cut. You also don’t want to have too much height at your crown. If you do, this could emphasize the wider forehead in a way that you do not want it to. Another thing to stay away from is extremely slicked back styles. These tend to look way too harsh for this facial style.
When you have a heart shaped face, you want to bring the focus to your amazing cheekbones. Because of this, you want to keep the style at a medium to long length. Otherwise, you are likely to accidentally accentuate the forehead or chin. As with all hair styles and facial structures, if you find a style that you like that goes against this, it never hurts to try it out!
